Founded in June 1999 as a luxury custom homebuilder, our portfolio includes many of Nashville’s premier neighborhoods. In 2008, we turned our focus to roofing and home restoration services. We’ve been among Nashville’s most trusted roofers since.
Archway has serviced and roofed over 2,000 homes since 2008. As a certified ShingleMaster™ installer, our customers receive upgraded warranties, guaranteed installations, and material discounts standard.
As our late founder, Mike Blackmer used to say, “The job’s not done until the job’s done right.”

Michael "Mike" Blackmer
In 1970, at the age of 14, Mike built his first home from the ground up. After 29 years of building experience, he achieved his Master General Contractors License and in June of 1999, founded Archway Builders, a ‘custom luxury home builder for Middle Tennesseans’. He had a talent for building beautiful homes, with his gift for envisioning attractive home concepts. His portfolio of luxury homes includes homes in: Governor’s Club, Princeton Hills, Green Hills, Brentwood, and Franklin. Hardworking and honest, Mike was respected by his customers, peers, and employees for the way he conducted business.
In 2018, Mike re-envisioned the company as Archway Roofing, focusing on exterior residential home restorations. His vision - to bring the same level of craftsmanship and customer service to exteriors that he practiced in custom home building - was rewarded with a growing community of customers and friends proud to refer a company operated with integrity.
Mike expanded Archway Roofing in 2018, instilling his knowledge in home restoration and the importance of conducting business with integrity and character to his new partners. In January of 2023, Mike retired from Archway Roofing, passing on the company to us. Our goal is to honor his legacy by following the wisdom and example he set.
